Thanks for shopping at Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd. We appreciate the fact that you purchase from us! We also want to make sure you have a rewarding experience while you’re exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our products, whether you’re at our online or physical stores. To make it visually easier on both of us, we’ll refer to these entities as the “PME” in this policy.

As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at PME. The main thing to remember is that by placing an order or making a purchase at PME, you agree to the terms set forth below along with PME's Privacy Policy as well.

We may also provide links on our site to the websites of other companies, whether affiliated with us or not. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse these other websites. We have no responsibility for the content of these other websites. We make no representations or warranties that these other websites do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any person. We are not authorizing the reproduction of material found on these other websites. You acknowledge that Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd is not responsible for the availability of, and does not endorse the content of, links to external third party websites. You acknowledge that Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result of the availability of, or your access to, any external links, including as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy or existence of any advertising, products or other materials on, or available from, such external links.

Placing an Order

By placing an order at PME, you are warranting to us that:

a) you are at least eighteen (18) years old; and

b) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

c) Any information you provide to us is complete and accurate;

d) You are residing in Singapore (unless approval is granted by PME to deliver overseas); and

e) You are accessing our site from Singapore.

When you place an order to purchase products from us, your order is deemed an offer to purchase products from us. For online orders, your order is accepted when you have successfully placed the order with an order confirmation or invoice sent to your email. For offline orders, your order is accepted through any of the scenarios (not limited to) as follows:

verbal/written mutual understanding;
issuance of sales invoice, service contract or any documents confirming the order; or
placing a deposit, partial or full payment.

Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd may, in its sole discretion, refuse or cancel any order and limit order quantity. Items purchased may not be in stock even after order confirmation. If we are unable to fulfill your order, we will contact you to offer an alternative product or advise a full refund.

Payments & Refunds

Once payment has been made, it will be deemed as placing an order and is subject to the Sales Terms & Conditions.

Excess payment made by you for whatsoever reason without being instructed by PME may be refunded (subject to deduction of transaction fees and/or administrative charges). You may also wish to opt for the excess payment to be kept as credits to be used for the next transactions. This is applicable to all types of payment methods and modes, including E-Payment.

Cancelling an Order

You cannot cancel your order once your have placed the order. We reserve the right to refund you the price of any product/s for which you have paid (subject to deduction of transaction fees, administrative charges and/or delivery charges (if any), even after we have sent you an email informing that your order has been accepted and payment has been received by us.

All items sold are strictly non-refundable and change-of-mind exchanges are not applicable. Items with hardware mechanical defects or failures that affect product function may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase, subject to approval by PME or direct supplier of the product. Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to evaluate or reject any exchange of item.

Returns & Refunds

The returns request must be submitted within 7 days (or within the same day for returns due to external cosmetic damage) from the day the item is delivered to you. You must provide proof of purchase with delivery order receipt and order/invoice number at the point of submitting your returns request.

The item must be shipped back to us via our appointed courier company (as arranged by us after you make a returns request).

Item must be in brand new condition and returned in its original packaging along with all accessories (including manuals, warranty cards, certificate of authenticity) and free gifts received with it. All packaging must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner.

Item must be returned in the original delivery box (or with, at least, suitable packaging) to protect the product from damage during return delivery.

Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd reserves the right to reject any cancellation or refund deemed unfit or unreasonable even after the relevant Sales Order is confirmed and payment has been received by Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd, in lieu of delivery or supply of such Goods.

Refund of payment (subject to deduction of transaction fees, administrative charges and/or delivery charges) may take up to 14 working days. Refund of payment excludes promotional code, digital coupons and vouchers utilised.

Pricing

In describing the products available to purchase online, Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Poh Meng Engineering Pte Ltd does not warrant that product descriptions, images, free gifts and prices or other content of any Daikin Singapore Services are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors (including processing errors) may occur. If we discover an error in the price or payment of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If the order is cancelled and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Prices shown are in Singapore dollars. If you are paying for your order with an international Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card, please note that the purchase price may fluctuate with exchange rates. In addition, your bank or credit card issuer may also charge you foreign conversion charges and fees, which may also increase the overall cost of your purchase. Please contact your bank or credit card issuer regarding these fees.

Shipping & Delivery

Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond PME's control once it leaves our facilities, PME cannot be held liable for late deliveries. We will, however, work with you to ensure a smooth delivery. Deliveries will be made only within Singapore except for restricted areas (Tuas/ Jurong Island/ Sentosa). Restricted areas will be subject to delivery surcharge. Delivery will be at the address in Singapore you have stated in your order. Any change of address and/or change in delivery method stated the original order will be subject to change fee.

There may be the risk of loss and damage to the products you purchased when passing to you on delivery. If defective, we shall retain title to the products until such time as payment in full (including delivery charges) has been effected.

In-Store Pickup

PME offers in-store pickup for some items available on the Online Store. Certain products and payment methods, however, may not qualify for in-store pickup. Only you or the person designated by you may pick up the item(s) purchased. A government-issued photo ID and order number will be required for pickup. PME will notify you when your order is ready and the date by which you need to pick up your items. To prevent any wasted trip by you, please contact us before you head down if you have not received our notification.

Use of Promotional Discount Codes, Coupons & Vouchers

Promotional discount codes, coupons and vouchers refer to any form of benefits that entitle you to reduced price and/or free gift for your purchase. We may from time to time offer promotional codes, coupons and vouchers which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made through PME. However, only one promotional discount code, coupon or voucher can be used for a single transaction and is non-extendable once expired.

Promotional discount code, coupon or voucher cannot be:

replaced if it is lost, stolen, deleted, or if you cancel or return your purchase;
exchangeable for cash and unutilised amounts will not be refunded;
applied with any other promotions, unless otherwise stated.

Promotional discount code, coupon or voucher may be issued with their own set of conditions and they are specific to each version of the coupon. Please refer to the specific terms that come with the code. coupon or voucher. The terms and conditions stated in each code. coupon or voucher shall be final and conclusive.

Quotation

Promotional discount code, coupon or voucher cannot be:

replaced if it is lost, stolen, deleted, or if you cancel or return your purchase;
exchangeable for cash and unutilised amounts will not be refunded;
applied with any other promotions, unless otherwise stated.

Liability

We exclude all representations, warranties, conditions and terms (whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise) to the fullest extent permitted by law. We will not be liable for damages which are not reasonably foreseeable arising out of or in connection with your order. We make no representation or warranty that any product specified in our PME online store will be available for purchase at any of the phyiscal stores in Singapore at the specified price or at all. Not all products / promotions available online are available in stores. Online products, variants, pricing and availability may vary from physical stores.

Except to the extent required by any applicable law, we will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of or reliance on any content or information displayed on PME online or physical stores.

We will not be liable to you or any party for any damages, losses, expenses or costs whatsoever (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, or economic loss or loss opportunity) arising out of or in connection with your order, or reliance on any information, materials or services provided, regardless of the form of action and even if we had been advised as to the possibility of such damages. This exclusion clause shall take effect to the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law.

In any event, and notwithstanding anything contained in these terms & conditions, our maximum aggregate liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of the statutory duty) or otherwise arising out of or in connection with your order shall be limited to the price of the products.
